TANDEM PARAGLIDING ADVENTURE - INDIVIDUAL RATE: $145
SOAR ABOVE IT ALL. Your tandem paragliding experience will begin with a brief ground school session introducing you to paraglider launch, control and landing fundamentals. After successfully launching and clearing the launch area, passengers are offered the opportunity to take control of the paraglider under the guidance of a certified tandem instructor. Your instructor will guide you in proper control input. Nearing the end of the flight, the instructor will regain control of the paraglider for the final approach and landing.
TANDEM PARAGLIDING ADVENTURE - GROUP RATE: $125 per person
Same as above, only cheaper! A special rate for a group of four or more persons.
SECOND TANDEM FLIGHT: $75
Once is never enough. Enjoy a second flight on the same day as your first!
ONE DAY INTRODUCTORY COURSE: $225
Determined to fly? Considering dedicating yourself to the sport? The ONE DAY INTRODUCTORY COURSE allows you to fly 'solo' on your first day. The course begins with a description of paragliding equipment and the fundamentals of flight. Afterwards, you will gain several hours of ground handling experience. Generally, the day ends with relatively safe, low flights for either a sand dune or training hill. The ONE DAY INTRODUCTORY COURSE is perfect to people who are unsure they want full USHPA certification.
USHPA P1-P2 RATING COURSE: $1,525
Beginner (P1) through Novice (P2) training:
Beginner level students learn the basics of ground handling through launching and landing from higher elevations. Students will be introduced to relevant theory of flight, beginning ridge and thermal soaring techniques, coastal and Cascade Range flying sites.
A Novice paraglider pilot has the knowledge and basic skills necessary to fly and practice without direct instructor supervision but within significant operating limitations. The pilot understands the USHPA paragliding rating systems and recommended operating limitations. Generally, the P1 / P2 course is completed within 10 - 15 days.
All of the courses include a 30 day membership to the United States Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (USHPA).
SKILL BUILDING SESSION: $150
Refresher course: The skill building session begins with a review of your paragliding equipment, the fundamentals of flight, paraglider launch, control and landing fundamentals. The skill building session includes ground handling practice and ends with a high flight. Bring your own gear.
SITE GUIDE: $150
A SITE GUIDE is knowledgeable about local flying sites and landing zones, necessary pilot skill level, and prime flying conditions for each site. We offer our expertise and transportation to local, out of state, and international tourists.
