PASSENGER CHECKLIST:
What to wear:  Dress in layers, for example: a t-shirt with a light, long-sleeve windbreaker or long-sleeve shirt.  Before and immediately after the flight you will want to be able to dress depending on the weather.  Ideal footwear consists of lightweight boots with ankle support.  Keep in mind that you are required to run at launch and landing.  If boots are not feasible, then wear comfortable hi-top tennis shoes with mid-ankle height socks.

Food & Drink:  Bring a sack lunch including plenty of bottled water, fruit or snack bars.

Transportation:  Providing your own transportation allows you to depart immediately after your flight.  It would be helpful if you have a friend or family member accompany you and act as a driver to return our transportation to the landing area while we are flying.  We will meet at the landing zone and then carpool to the launch site.  If you do not have your own transportation, we will provide it, but expect delays and to be packed together with loads of equipment.

Equipment:  Helmet, knee pads and harness are provided.  It is recommended that you bring a pair of gloves.  Cameras are allowed on flights but used at your own risk.  Because para-gliding often involves para-waiting for the best flying conditions, be sure to bring a comfortable lawn chair.

Communication:  All paragliding pilots carry commercial band radios.  If necessary, stop any pilot and ask them to contact any other pilot you may need.  If you have brought a friend, we can provide them with a radio so that you can communicate during your flight.  Cellular phone service in the landing zones is often limited or non-existant.
